The Claire School of Dance offers several programs during the summer. This page is for our 2-month summer session of dance classes. We also have several 1-day and 1-week summer camp programs.

The 2010 Summer Session runs from June 5^th through July 31^st. There is no class on July 3^rd. There is no registration fee.

Attire for toddler, CM & preballet is a leotard. No tights! No shoes! Dance skirts and tutus are allowed.

Attire for Intro Level I is black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers. Hair should be pulled back.

Placement

Toddler classes are for children 2½ and 3. Summer Creative Movement classes are for children 3½ and 4. Summer Preballet classes are for children entering kindergarten and first grade. Intro Level I is for children ages 7 - 10.

Children must be 2½ to enroll in summer classes. Children entering kindergarten in the Fall should enroll in the 5 & 6 year old class. Parents with questions regarding placement are invited to contact the School office. Final determination of placement is at the teacher's discretion.

All summer classes meet once a week.

Camps

Fairy Magic and Teacup Fairy Camps take place at Grace United.

Ballet ‘n Broadway and Enchanted Workshop camps take place at Lambert Hall.

Enrollment

Enrollment is limited to 10 students per class. Classes fill quickly! Early registration is strongly encouraged.
