Cupcake Cuties: School Year Baking for 4-6 year olds Every class includes a “from scratch” recipe. We’ll learn the tools and rules of the kitchen. We’ll also learn things like units of measurement, the difference in measuring liquids and solids, and how to double or cut a recipe in half. (Did someone say multiplication and fractions?) Every class also includes a thematically-relevant craft as well as skip counting games and games for developing fine and gross motor skills. Shush! Don’t tell the kids how much they’re going to learn – they think it’s just for fun! Students enroll in individual classes. |
October 16, 4-5:30 p.m. ($45)
OR October 19, 10 a.m. – noon ($650) Day of the Dead and Halloween. This is a cookie baking and decoration camp. We’ll make from scratch cookies and decorate them. |
November 13, 4-5:30 p.m. ($45)
OR November 16, 10 a.m. – noon ($65) Autumn means falling leaves and apple picking! We’ll make apple cider donuts and mulled apple juice. |
December 11 ($50)
OR December 13, 10 a.m. – noon ($65) December is holiday season! We’ll decorate “gingerbread” houses and make sufganiyot (jelly donuts). |
January 15, 4-5:30 p.m. ($45)
OR January 18, 10 a.m. – noon ($65) Ooh la la! Paris! We’ll make chocolate mousse and Madeleine teacakes from scratch. |

Thanksgiving week: November 25-30, 2024.
Christmas break: December 16, 2024 – January 4, 2025. (Classes resume Monday, January 6, 2025.)
Spring break: March 10-22, 2025. (NOTE: This is TWO weeks long.) Classes resume Monday, March 24, 2025.

Camp Cupcake June 9-13, 10 a.m. -noon July 7-11, 10 a.m. – noon July 21-25, 10 a.m. – noon This camp is an introduction to basic techniques and tools of the kitchen. In addition to making yummy treats, every day includes games, movement, and an art project. Campers go home with a Camp Cupcake apron, a recipe box, and recipe cards. The camp is limited to four (4) cooks. This year we are focusing on no-bake goodies. Refrigerator pies, smoothies, popsicles, and – shush! – fruits ‘n veggies. The kitchen is a cool place to be this summer! $270 (9:30 a.m. drop-off available at no extra charge) |

Samson Cooking School for Kids 
June 16-201, 10 a.m. to noon July 14-18, 10 a.m. to noon This program introduces kids to basic cooking techniques, tools, and recipes. This summer we are focusing on no-cook dishes. Salads, smoothies, and refrigerator pies. We’ll make our own salad dressing from scratch. Every student goes home with a Samson Cooking School apron and recipes. Class is limited to four (4) students. $275 (9:30 a.m. drop-off available at no extra charge) |
St. Matthew’s classes are held Wednesdays 2-2:45 p.m. The teacher will collect students from their classrooms. Parents pick up their children from the gym. Those students in aftercare are taken there by the teacher.
Grace Day School classes are held Thursdays 10-10:45 a.m. The Grace Day School teacher escorts students to and from the dance class.
