This month we made carrot cake and cream cheese frosting.

Students grated the carrots as well as completing all the other steps in the recipes.  Our craft this month was a portrait of Peter Rabbit, using cardboard and one of the “wells” of an egg carton. We had so much fun making the art project we forgot to take pictures of the carrot cake!

Next month: lemon icebox mini pies and lavender rosemary candles in real lemon shells. We’ll be harvesting the rosemary from the garden.
